Pets in Things

When I was growing up we had an open door policy towards animals. If a stray showed up at our house it got fed and usually stuck around long enough to be considered a pet. Since we lived on a gravel road, which is prime animal dumping territory, a lot of animals showed up to take advantage of our policy. Here are some of my favorite pet pictures. The theme being: Pets in Things. All of the animals got into whatever object they are in under their own power. (Honestly, the cat got into the bag on her own. My dad just happened to be there to make sure she stayed in the bag long enough to get her picture taken.)

Let's Get Interactive . . . MOVIE SONGS!!!

If at first you don't succeed. . .

I have decided to give this another go after the overwhelming success of my first attempt (yes, that's sarcasm). This one should be a little bit easier, hopefully. Also I made the title more exciting. Note the CAPITALIZATION and EXCLAMATION POINTS!!! If that doesn't get you people excited, I don't know what will.

Let's Get Interactive. . . Quotations (w/Hints)

Since all this Web 2.0 stuff is about being social, I’m hoping this will create some interaction on my blog. This is my first attempt at this so the introduction will be a little long. Just bear with me.

I love trivia and word games and things like that, so here is some trivia for you. Below are listed ten quotations. They were spoken or written by real people and may have come from speeches, letters, memoirs, etc. None of them comes from a work of fiction. Your job is to name the person associated with each quote. While every quote is not incredibly famous, the people are, so I hope you can figure some of them out even if you don’t know them immediately.
